Next Rehearsal/Schedule

The schedule can now be found online at https://www.georgetownpalace.com/Rehearsals_shrek.php

Please note that the rehearsal report will always trump what is on the online calendar, I’ll try to update asap, but it may not happen so it will be important to look at the reports!  Thanks

Saturday, October 25

1:00pm

Dance: 1PM - Don't Let Me Go - Shrek, Donkey, Guards; 2:30PM - Blocking Act II - specific call times TBD, at some point Shrek and Donkey will need to try on their costumes.

Costume pick up 10:15 to 2:30 PLEASE bring your costumes to the Palace after picking up so that we can tag them.  (a couple of you have told me you cannot, that is okay, but if the majority does bring them on Saturday, Monday will go smoother.)

Costumes-

What kind of helmet will Shrek have?  How will it open?

Thelonius needs a cape, need to keep an eye on this costume, want it to be correct.

There is a lift in morning person (where the skirt comes off, so a bustle may not work for that)

We will in fact need 9 Rat costumes.  So, one of us should see the rat costume and ascertain whether or not we can make two, or if we have to make 9…. Ramona is adamant that she only has 6.

Facility-

I don’t think the vents at the back of the rehearsal stage work

Accident/Incident

Dumb Stuff it’s fun to find out

Published by Frederick Warne & Co., an illustrated children's book by John W. Ivimey entitled The Complete Version of Ye Three Blind Mice, fleshes the mice out into mischievous characters who seek adventure, eventually being taken in by a farmer whose wife chases them from the house and into a bramble bush, which blinds them. Soon after, their tails are removed by "the butcher's wife" when the complete version incorporates the original verse. The story ends with them using a tonic to grow new tails and recover their eyesight, learning a trade (making wood chips, according to the accompanying illustration), buying a house and living happily ever after. The book is now in the public domain.
